Question:
how do you know if your butt smells? please help, warning anus question.?

i've posted quite a few similar questions to this, because needless to say the paranoia is killing me. i have a constant feeling like my anus is wet/damp. but when i wipe there's no mark/discolouration, the tissue remains dry, but as soon as i pull up my boxers and move about i get that damp feeling on my anus again. i'm becoming really self concious about this, i no longer leave my house or socialise any more.
is there a way to check if i'm emitting some sort of smell? i regularly get a wiff of things in the air, even at home, that smells like sewage or excrement, it'll come then go. i'll instantly go and check with a tissue if anything is on it, but the tissue will remain dry with no smell on it, all along whilst my anus feels damp. is there any way to check if there's a smell? i'm concerned i'm emitting some smell that doesn't linger long enough to stick to a tissue, or the fabric in my boxers.

does anyone know of anything similar to this?
i shower twice a day because of this, after every bowel movement i wash with soap and water. but the paranoia is still here.

you sound like you have OCD.

its most likely your imagination or your clothes/armpits. other parts of you can emit an odor while you feel damp there.

get deodorant STRICTLY for your backside.

dry deodorant or baby powder.

buy new clothes, underwear and all.

shower for a long time scrub EVERYWHERE dont just focus on the anus. after your sqeaky clean, put the powder or deodorant on your backside and wear all NEW clothes, never worn before. and go for a short walk or go about your daily living, if you smell it, its not you, its your house, or it is you, but its your mentality.

either way. you will figure it out if you follow my guide.

it could just be sweat. And if you are wanting to know if there is a lingering smell( i know it will feel weird and sounds weird saying it) put something like tissue or fabric between you cheeks for a while and if there is a smell to that then you know there is a smell. if it doesnt smell then it is all in your head
