worried about my penis/erections, reluctant to go to doctor?

I've been having some real concerns over the past 4-6months regarding my penis and erections. Its bothered me intensely but I've been reluctant to go to a doctor and have turned to the internet for advice. I'll give you a laundry list of the things I have noticed.

1.) Weaker erections and diminished size.

I thought I was just being paranoid at first but I'm now completely convinced this is happening. I used to feel very confident about the size of my penis, now I've lost that confidence. What is making me think this? Two things - one, just from a self pleasuring perspective I've noticed the change. It feels smaller (both girth and length) and doesn't seem to fill with blood as strongly as before. It still gets hard enough for climax, it just doesn't seem to be the same. I used to get really strong erections that felt like the head was going to burst off of the shaft. Now the blood rushes in but it doesn't seem to have that same force or strength. Its as though the spongy tissue of the penile shaft inflates but isn't as elastic. Its almost as though its "tighter" for some reason.

2.) From a partner perspective - in the past I've always had good sexual chemistry with partners and have often had partners comment on the length of my penis. Frequently I couldn't go deep without it being uncomfortable for them. My recent partners (8months) haven't had those comments/complaints...and honestly, even from my perspective, its felt different. Like I'm not able to go as deep either. I know thats hard to judge because every body is different but its just another thing I've noticed.

2.) Difficulty getting erection then quick erection and ejaculation.

This is a weird one and has happened both by myself and with a partner. There is difficulty getting an erection and then all of a sudden its up and wants to climax almost immediately. Very embarrassing with a partner.

3.) Tighter skin on penile shaft and testicles and less blood pooling in area.

In an flaccid state I used to have what people would call "saggy balls". The skin of my testicles was frequently loose unless cold and the penile shaft spongy and engorged with blood. A lot of blood used to pool there, now its normal that a lot less blood pools there and the shaft and balls are tight. Overall this creates a much smaller looking penis but I'm more concerned about why the blood wouldn't seem to pool there as much.

4.) Lowered libido/ less nocturnal and daytime erections.

Pretty much as it sounds. I used to get a lot of erections - during the day and at night - and had a pretty high sex drive, frequently having to masturbate to relieve myself. Now, not nearly as much.

Anyways - a lot of things bothering me and ultimately I'm very worried that something could be wrong. I know things like sex drive lower with age but I wasn't aware that your penis could "shrink" in size and strength.

PS - I'm not overweight nor have I gained any weight at all. I'm quite thin. So the whole "it just look smaller" argument doesn't apply. I also don't see a curvature developing as is the case with scarring and Peyronies disease.

Any advice from men experiencing similar problems etc is very welcome!

Thank-you.

Stress could be a factor influencing and be responsible for all of these signs:

1. work/school stress

2. stress you pile on your own performance every time you look and get concerned

3. physical fatique can aid

Check these out and consider the validity. You will know.

If not, try to use a cock ring. It will fit around the base of your penis and will increase pooling and the hardness of your erection. Do NOT leave it on for longer than 30 mins!!

If that does not helpm go see a doctor and get him to diagnose your problem.

I'm not sure your penis can "shrink," but that still doesn't mean there isn't a problem. Depending on how long this has been going on it could be nothing. I'd still recommend you get it checked out. It's just not a good idea to take any chances.

Treatment is such a broad word and I would not worry too much about it unless the doctor goes into detail of any lengthy treatment
