Just turned 17 and have been losing my hair since i was about 16.
My hair went from being heaps thick, almost too thick, where i could grow it to my mouth and it wouldn't thin.
Now i have a reseeded hair line and cant grow it past my eyebrows and eyes without it thinning badly.
Same story as every other teenage bloke on here i've found but i want to find out a descent and successful way to stop the loss and promote hair growth!
The problem areas are around my temples and the top of my head.

If anybody could help that would be excellent! I want to grow my fringe thick again!

Thanks again!

Though stress may cause hair loss, several factors may be causing your particular hair loss. The most common type of permanent hair loss is Androgenetic alopecia, more commonly known as male/female pattern baldness. Male pattern baldness usually begins at the hairline, causing hair loss on the forehead and at the temples first. It can occur as early as the late teens and early 20s, and usually works backwards from the temples to eventually cause partial or total baldness on the top and sides of the scalp.

Alternatively, poor or unbalanced nutrition may be a contributing factor to your early hair loss. Some foods you should add to your diet to increase hair health include: fruits, vegetables, dairy, lean healthy meats, fish, legumes, unsaturated fats, and water. Make sure your diet is also rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin B, silica, calcium, and iron to reduce or prevent hair loss. Avoid eating high amounts of fat, animal protein, and salt. As you can see, the foods necessary to achieve healthy hair are the same that are necessary for overall body health.

However, to precisely pinpoint the source of the hair loss, you should consult a medical professional, like those at Bosley Medical. These physicians are hair loss experts who can diagnose the specific cause of your case & recommend appropriate treatment options. The consults at Bosley Medical are conducted free of charge so at the very least you receive the information you need to move forward in addressing your problem.

If your hair loss is due to heredity then the following products may work for you. Since you are under 18, consult with a doctor before taking anything.

Minoxidil is an fda approved product for hair loss. Its a topical solution that you apply to your scalp twice per day. You might know it as Rogaine but you can get a generic version for about $4+ per month and its the same thing as Rogaine. Go to www.solutions4hairloss.com and they carry rogaine as well as the generic version.

Propecia (called finasteride): the 2nd FDA approved product for hair loss. Its a pill which you can only get by prescription and you take it every day. This one is more costly than minoxidil.

You can take both these products, the propecia to stop the hair loss and the minoxidil for the hair regrowth. If you stop taking these products the hair loss will continue.

The most common hair loss regimen is the Big 3 which is minoxidil, propecia, and a ketoconazole shampoo such as Nizoral or Regenepure. Since everyone uses a shampoo you might as well use one that helps out for hair loss. There has been studies that showed that using it had similar effects to using minoxidil 2% and it will also cleanse the scalp making your usage of minoxidil more effective. You can also find the shampoos at www.solutions4hairloss.com as well.

Good luck and these products will only work for you if its hereditary hair loss and not every product works for everyone but you wont know until you try. Most products will take 3 to 4 months before knowing if they are working so dont give up right away unless your are experiencing side effects or negative reaction such as itchy scalp or rash, etc.

You can try Rogaine and Propeica. If Rogaine and Propecia does not work, you can try Bawang Anti-fall and Renewal Shampoo. It is the best-selling hair shampoo in China and was recommended by Movie Star Jackie Chan.

I have heard a few friends used this product and it did prevent hair from falling. The product contains Chinese herbal medicines which improve blood circulation in the head. I also heard the product is also money back guarantee

You should see a dermatologist to find out why this is happening because 17 seems to be a young age to have this problem. In the meantime, you could try Rogaine (Walmart and Walgreen's drugstores sell a generic version called Minoxidil) or Nioxin. Rogaine is a treatment that you apply to your scalp and Nioxin is a system of shampoo and conditioner that is supposed to remove DHT, a hormone that contributes to hair loss. Read these websites

There is nothing you can do except rub stem cells on your scalp each day. Otherwise practice a good comb over
