Hi everyone, and Merry Christmas!

I'm an Asian (Malaysian, Chinese), and I just reached the age of 16 on November 15. My current height is only 168 cm. Is there any way that I can increase my height fast before the growth spurt ends?

By the way, I experience late puberty (at least later than most of my friends) - my voice only started to change mid-2009, and I only notice slight hair growth Dec 2009 / Jan 2010.

I am usually a computer boy - so I don't participate in sports often. I do participate when I feel I need to - but my stamina and strength aren't comparable to others (although that's a different story due to doing less exercise).

Thank you.

Merry Christmas to you as well,

You are still in puberty so it is possible that your eventual height will be taller, Female growth trails off at about 15 years, whereas male growth continues for approximately 3 more years, going to zero at about 18.

What you can do now to achieve your maximum growth potential is 1. get sufficient exercise 2. eat enough of the right types of foods. The right foods give you the minerals and vitamins your body needs for bone growth. Junk food gives you nothing but junk and your body uses it to create fat.

BOTTOM LINE: Genetics + Nutrition + Exercise → Height

Hi Buddy its the age old problem, why is it that some people are never satisfied with what God gave them?

There is no way to make yourself taller apart from wearing higher heels than normal but this will only give you bone, muscle and tendon problems.

I suggest you join a self help group to improve your self esteem, hey man look at Bruce lee and Jet Li both those guys are under 5' 7" and look at the fame and wealth they accumulated.

Confidence buddy that's all you need.

Good Luck and Merry Christmas Height is genetic but also depends on growth hormone produced in the pituitary gland.

ADVICE FOR HEIGHT INCREASE

Good intake of calcium daily as found in various foodstuffs like tonned milk, banana, ragi, nachni, yogurt, my favourite nachos with cheese..

a best way i cud advice is to have milk shakes(chocolate, coffee flavoure) 2-3 times a day as an replacement for tea, coffee is a good alternative...

Good sleep aftr exercises helps ur bones to relax and expand.. Atlest 8hrs good sleep at night...

Remember food without exercises or exercises without food wont help you much.

Also there are genetics n familial relationships related to height.. i.e if either ur parents are short heighted or either ur brother , sister.. than there are little chances for increase in height...BUT keep a positive attitude follow the daily regimen of food n exercises. If you goin to gym regularly, i wud advice not to perform any weight lifting exercises... stritctly NO..

Herbal Solutions:

Being a medical student myself, the best advice i wud like to give is " supergrowth height enhancer "

These herbal growth remedies are found to be the permanent cure of short height. The herbal product can be bought from http://www.supergrowthenhancer.com

The herbal product have a certain procedure for treating the short height. The herbs correct the chemical as well as hormonal imbalances which is the actual cause of the short height. These imbalances lead to the persistent short height and posture. The best thing about super-growth is that it is effective even after puberty.

i hope i have given the best advice to u... Hoping u mark this as best answer in the options given... take care frnd
