A rinse is not necessary. I'm a retired nurse who has given hundreds of soapsuds enemas (SSEs) over the years. I've never worked anywhere where the policy was to follow an SSE with a tap water or saline enema.
Soapsuds enemas are irritating, however, so don't overuse them. Some hospitals have recently instituted policies discouraging the use of SSEs.

I can take 7 litres of an enema, coffee or soapy one. Yes you should use tap enema to clear out after a soapsuds one, or you will get upset stomach(trust me). I do all sorts of enemas from air to water.

Soap can be used to further cleanse the colon. After using a soap solution, you might want to follow with a simple water enema to prevent irritation
but that would be the only reason....just to prevent irritaion.
Dont enema too often...it can that if you dont allow natural processes to take place it would be harder to "go" on your own after a while...be careful and be safe.
Always check with a MD if you are having problems and/or have addtional questions.

If you use a enema buy one from the store and only use only one. Enema's can dehydrate you.
