Question:
Do the body absorbs unused semen?

Hi guys, I'm a growing teenager. I'm a guy. I used to masturbate regularly, but recently I decided to quit masturbating. During the period of time when I used to masturbate regularly, I never had any wet dreams. I used to masturbate 1-2 times a day. Now that I stopped masturbating, I'm starting to have wet dreams. I searched the web and people says that guys 'need' to ejaculate every once in a while or you will get cancer or some kind of disease. I even read online that if you don't ejaculate, the semen will build up and makes you sick, getting cancer and/or any other disease. But I read that it's myth that guys 'need' to ejaculate every once in a while, and that the body will absorb the unused semen on some websites, including WikiHow. So, what happens to unused semen?

Also, I read that wet dreams usually stop after puberty. I'm still going through puberty, by the way. Will wet dreams stop when I grow out of puberty?

Since I used to masturbate, will masturbation cause any harm to my body or make my puberty growth unnatural (e.g. wet dreams will keep coming even after puberty)? I'm seriously worried about this issue.

Please answer my questions seriously. I'm young and am worried. Thank you. :)

Well, yes, it will eventually break dead semen down into protein and absorb it.

BUT the body will drastically cut production.

Which cuts the number of wet dreams but does not stop them.

The question of disease is unproven = we still do not know all the causes of cancer,

but congesting organs does not help them function healthily.

Many men in India, where many of these NoFap ideas come from, find they are sterile

when they eventually get married and want children.

If wet dreams have stopped so probably has everything else.

Masturbation is Natures way of keeping the works oiled.

ALL animals with a penis masturbate.

It is healthy for your body.

NoFap is religious crap.

Use it or lose it.

It has been shown in some studies that frequent ejaculations no matter how they are achieved, may reduce ones risk for prostrate cancer. However, abstaining from masturbation (ejaculating) doesn't necessarily mean that one will get prostrate cancer.

It is true that the body can and does reabsorb unspent semen, but it is also very likely that one would have nocturnal emissions (wet dreams) as a means to clear out unspent semen.

Nocturnal emissions can occur all throughout ones life but they are more prevalent among younger males, especially teens.

When those websites say a male "needs" to ejaculate, it's more or a reference to the fact that males are made to do so, it is what we do and doing it is as natural as eating, breathing and going to the bathroom. It can contribute to better health and well being by reducing the aforementioned risk for cancer as well as being a safe and effective way to relieve pent up sexual tension and stress in the absence of partnered sex, it also allows the body to create and have ready a fresh - healthy supply of semen as well as keeping your reproductive organs exercised.

As long as you do not let masturbation interfere with your normal daily activities, social interactions and responsibilities there is nothing harmful, wrong, bad or immoral about it. However, it is not "required" that you do it if that is your wish, it's just that there are some benefits to doing so.

In the end, it's OK to masturbate in moderation if you choose to do so, but it's also OK to abstain.

No, it does not, it expels it when you are sleeping. BTW it is not healthy to refrain from masturbation. It causes higher stress levels and it's not good for your prostate. Men who masturbate at least 5 times a week when they are younger have a much much lower rate of prostate cancer when they get older or in other words men who masturbate less than 5 times a week or don't masturbate at all when they are younger have a much higher chance of getting prostate cancer when they are older. If you want to find out more benefits of masturbation google it. You will be amazed at how many good things happen to your mind and body.

Total garbage that you "have" to ejaculate, but nothing wrong with doing it and it is fun and relaxing, so probably should do it some regularly. Wet dreams are just nocturnal emissions of pent up sexual urges, kinda messy as opposed to doing it when awake and you can better control the mess. Masturbation is just solo sex, dude. What you are designed to do is ejaculate and masturbation is the safest sex you can do. 99% of all males masturbate, teens and adult males, No side effects of intercourse so no side effects of solo sex. Same physiological act.

so you read it on the internet and that makes it true and hate to say it but that's garbage, your wet dreams will never stop even after your done puberty, masturbating will have no effect on your growth and it sounds to me like you need to have that talk to your parents about the birds and the bees
