I'm 29, and barely 5'7". No, you're not "really short". You're a bit below average, sure. But, think of it this way: most girls are at eye-level. Think about it: no bending, or reaching, or any other awkward postures to kiss each other. My wife thinks it's great!

There are other implications regarding alignment that I won't spell out, but I'm sure if you think about it, you'll get my drift.
